The world today is suffering the consequences of climate change. The increase in the planet’s temperature, caused by the excess emission of gases such as CO2 and Methane, has been causing increasingly frequent natural disasters.
Many years ago, MAT EQUIPAMENTOS PARA GASES LTDA included in its QUALITY POLICY the goal of seeking “The conservation of the environment and the well-being of society, through measures to prevent and reduce environmental impacts…” so that it could be given your collaboration so that such consequences are stopped and reversed.
We are very happy to announce that in this year 2024, we have completed something important in this endeavor as we have obtained the Carbon Neutral Company Certificate and the Nature Partner Company Certificate granted by the Brazilian Institute for the Defense of Nature. We call on all companies to quickly pursue this goal!

This Seal is awarded for the voluntary initiative to neutralize carbon emissions from its activities, in line with the goals assumed by Brazil in the Global Compact and in compliance with the UN Climate agenda. Neutralized 410 tCO2e – tons of carbon equivalent, through the acquisition of carbon credits from projects approved by the United Nations.
